Being a mage in Maplestory?

OK, so they have the wand beginners like me trying to do it from afar, not so far, but not like hitting with a fruit knife as I have so how do u get a new wand or wheres the store to buy and how do u do it from afar and I dont want to have to beat him with my wand sucks

so u cannot hit from a distance unless u have fits and shops in cities locted just walking around aspiring magicians, for now, but wands later have a good super
