In the first series of Yu-Gi-Oh sacrifise why not?
They could easily summon monsters like blue eyes and Dark Magician. Why Why?
The first answer is basically correct. What happens is that the rules were not fully established in the first series (at Kaiba Corp. and Duelist Kingdom). And if they had to slaughter the monsters that take too long to grieve in progress. Also when they were dropping the card game, and want viewers young to enter the card game, and with too many rules to follow that would be thrown out of play.
